Capt. Doug Stanford, Pirates of the Bay Charters, Texas Fishing Guide for Saltwater and  Bay Fishing
I like to have a good time . Did I mention I like to Fish? I started fishing bass tournaments in the early 80's, then got bored catching little five-six pounders, went to cat-fishing that was fun for awhile. Catching 50 or so catfish up to 15 lbs., was fun for a while. So I started catching 40,50,60 pounders, that was even more fun. Then that got a little boring ,so I started catching them on rod n reel. All this time we vacationed at Port A and always would spend the nights on piers fishing for Sharks. Finally some local friends and guides said this is the place you ought be, so we loaded up the family and moved to the sea. Sea that is in Port A. , Rockport.
Capt. Bill Cannan has been a professional fishing guide since 1991. In the years since, Cannan has evolved into one of the Western Gulf Coast’s most versatile, experienced and respected angling pros. Cannan began his career as a bass guide, fishing Lakes Conroe, Livingston and Sam Rayburn. He soon expanded his charter business into the saltwater arena, running inshore and offshore fishing trips out of Galveston and Port O’Connor on the Upper and Middle Texas Coast. In recent years, the veteran guide and tournament competitor has focused on blue-water fishing in his 36' Yellow fin out of Port O’Connor. Although he specializes, and very successfully, in billfish and tarpon, Cannan also regularly puts his clients on steady catches of red snapper, cobia, king mackerel, wahoo, grouper and sharks.
My name is Noel Guerrero, I am 36 and reside in Portland TX. I served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years. I am employed by L-3 Vertex Aerospace as a aircraft mechanic specializing in C-12 Navy planes at the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. I just recently graduated from the Sea Academy November 18, 2011. I have recently started my own guide service (Fin Fever Guide Service). I first experienced the saltwater life over ten years ago, and have enjoyed every moment of it. I love the adrenaline rush I feel when I see a redfish or trout blow up on my lures. I stick by a motto I have made for myself, “I don’t wait on fish, I hunt down fish.” I am looking forward to fishing in the upcoming Cabelas Texas Redfish Series Kayak and Boat Tour, and the IFA Kayak tour. I live to fish and have a great time doing it. When I take clients out, they will never forget the feeling and the exhilaration of the adrenaline rush they will experience when they get to see schools of redfish tailing in the flats or the excitement of hooking on to a nice red or trout, putting up a good fight. I'm looking forward to sharing my passion for fishing with anybody and everybody that is ready to feel the fever!
